The Heritage Act 2018 provides for repair notices and orders to be issued for State Registered places that are at risk of irreversible deterioration.
A Repair Notice or Order is only considered necessary when all attempts to negotiate an acceptable heritage outcome with the owner or occupier of a State Registered place have failed and that the place is at significant risk from structural damage due to neglect.
The Government of Western Australia acknowledges the traditional custodians throughout Western Australia and their continuing connection to the land, waters and community. We pay our respects to all members of the Aboriginal communities and their cultures; and to Elders both past and present.
