An individual who has made a significant voluntary contribution to the conservation, promotion and/or understanding of cultural heritage in the community.

Bob Dorey and Kathleen Musulin 

Mr Bob Dorey and Ms Kathleen Musulin are a duo who represent the Aboriginal male and female stories associated with the Bernier and Dorre Islands.

Brendan Kelly

Brendan has been a passionate advocate for conserving and telling Bunbury’s stories. He is a keen historian and is currently President of the Bunbury Oral History Group and was Chair of the City of Bunbury Heritage Advisory Committee from 2007-2019. 

 

Trevor Kelly

Trevor is a retired technician from ABC Radio and is committed to the preservation of Western Australian communications technology and heritage. Trevor has been a volunteer with the City of Melville Museums for over seven years, based at Wireless Hill Museum.

Megan Lawless

Megan’s passion for local heritage has helped to bring Bunbury’s heritage online, making it accessible and relevant to the local community. Memories of Bunbury project on Facebook promotes Bunbury’s heritage, local businesses and events online.

Jenny Sheehan

Jenny Sheehan has made an outstanding contribution to heritage, which has benefited both the Busselton community and Western Australia. Jenny held the voluntary position of Chairperson of Busselton Jetty Inc. (BJI) from 2015 to 2019.
In her role as Chairperson, Jenny was responsible for guiding the strategic direction of one of the States' top heritage tourism attractions, winning the Major Tourist Attraction category at the WA Tourism Awards in 2018 and 2019.
