The Minister for Planning has approved, as advertised, the abovementioned amendment to the Metropolitan Region Scheme.
The amendment is shown on Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) plan number 3.2743 and is effective from the date of publication of this notice in the Government Gazette.
Pursuant to section 126(3) of the Planning and Development Act 2005, the Shire of Mundaring requested that the WAPC amend its Local Planning Scheme No. 4 (LPS 4) for the urban zoned land included in the proposal to be concurrently amended to the Development zone. This was agreed to by the WAPC and Lot 2 Great Eastern Highway, Lot 2083 & Part Lot 2348 Cole Road and Lots 10 & 108 Pearce Street, Sawyers Valley will be transferred from the Rural Residential zone to the Development zone in LPS 4. This amendment to LPS 4 is effective from the date of publication of this notice in the Government Gazette.
