The Minister for Planning has approved, as advertised, the abovementioned amendment to the Greater Bunbury Region Scheme.
Notice of approved amendment
The amendment is shown on Western Australian Planning Commission plan number 3.2698 and is effective from the date of publication of this notice in the Government Gazette.
The purpose of this amendment is to rezone Lot 2 Prowse Road, Capel from Rural zone to Urban Deferred zone. The Urban Deferred zone and subsequent Urban zone are consistent with zoning of surrounding land and represent a logical rounding-off of the Capel townsite. The urban expansion is consistent with the Shire of Capel Townsite Strategy.
Following gazettal, the Shire of Capel Local Planning Scheme No. 7 will be amended to transfer all land subject to the amendment from Rural zone to Urban Development zone pursuant to section 126(3) of the Planning and Development Act, 2005.
