The central regions land capacity analysis provides a broad overview of the land capacity of settlements in the Mid West, Gascoyne and Goldfields–Esperance regions with respect to forecast population growth.
Based on the content of applicable local planning instruments, the Central Regions Land Capacity Analysis examines existing and future land capacity in each local government.
The documents available below present the land-use supply mapping and associated analysis for each local government area in these regions. It is intended that they will be amended periodically to reflect future updates to local planning instruments as relevant.
The information within the documents has been prepared for guidance purposes only. For selected regional centres the Western Australian Planning Commission undertakes a more comprehensive analysis of land supply through their Regional Land Supply Assessments.
The Government of Western Australia acknowledges the traditional custodians throughout Western Australia and their continuing connection to the land, waters and community. We pay our respects to all members of the Aboriginal communities and their cultures; and to Elders both past and present.
