Draft State Planning Policy 3.6 - Infrastructure contributions

The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) is seeking comment on the revised State Planning Policy 3.6 infrastructure contributions (SPP 3.6).

Infrastructure contributions is a long-standing mechanism where the development sector works with State and local government to deliver infrastructure to accommodate urban growth.

The revised draft SPP 3.6 infrastructure contributions proposes to introduce a framework for the delivery of infrastructure to new and existing communities. The draft policy aims to ensure greater accountability, transparency and consistency in providing for infrastructure contributions.

The draft policy and guidelines can be viewed online (above) in person at the WA Planning Commission, Level 2, 140 William Street, Perth.
