Five new members have been appointed to the WAPC’s Statutory Planning Committee for two year terms.

Five new members have been appointed to the Western Australian Planning Commission’s (WAPC) Statutory Planning Committee for two years terms.

Ms Kym Davis, Mr Lino Iacomella, Ms Nina Lyhne, Mr Leonard Kosova, and Ms Marion Thompson will join returning committee members.  

The committee is the WAPC’s regulatory decision-making body. Its functions include approval of the subdivision of land, approval of leases and licences, approval of strata schemes, advice to the Planning Minister on local government planning schemes and scheme amendments, and determining certain development applications under the Metropolitan Region Scheme.

The 2019-2020 members of the Statutory Planning Committee are:

  • Ms Kym Davis
  • Mr Lino Iacomella
  • Ms Nina Lyhne 
  • Mr Leonard Kosova
  • Ms Marion Thompson
  • Mr Ross Thornton
  • Mr David Caddy, Chairman WAPC
  • Ms Sue Burrows, representing the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage
